Natural gas comparison.
Compare gas supply costs with explicit therm, CCF, and MMBtu inputs.
Based on your entered values
Your scenario will appear here.
Illustrative defaults. Both rates are dollars per therm. CCF conversion uses your entered factor; MMBtu converts at ten therms per MMBtu.
Keep volume and energy units separate.
One MMBtu equals ten therms. CCF is a volume unit; convert it using the actual heat-content factor on your bill. Both prices in this tool must be entered in dollars per therm. MMBtu rates must therefore be divided by ten before entry.
Supply cost equals annual therms multiplied by the entered supply rate. The offer adds any separate annual fee entered. Transportation, delivery, taxes, balancing, storage, and variable index exposure are not independently modeled. Compare equivalent rate components.
Keep your comparison useful.
